Homewood Pharmacy is proud to serve our community as its only locally owned independent pharmacy. As an independent pharmacy, we are able to offer a much higher level of service and care than you will receive at a big-box chain. With an average wait time of less than five minutes, our goal is to provide you with fast and efficient service while also taking the time to answer any questions you may have about your prescriptions. When you walk out of our pharmacy doors with your prescriptions in hand, you can feel confident that our staff has taken every care to provide an excellent experience for you.

Meet the Hamiltons

As graduates of Samford University (Ryan), and the University of Montevallo (Damaris), we both have close ties to the city of Birmingham and its surrounding communities. We fell in love with the city of Homewood, as many do, and firmly planted roots here in 2008 and finally fulfilled our dream of being small business owners in June of 2016 with the purchase of Homewood Pharmacy. Living in this community gives us a personal connection to all of its residents and that is something you won't find at a big box chain. As new parents, we know just how important your family is to you and we take the responsibility of caring for you and your family very seriously. We are not just "pharmacy owners", we are your neighbors and take pride in serving you and your family.
